Review: Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 WiFi Tablet (2019). The best Android Tablet alternative to iPad

Is Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 the best Android alternative to iPad? iPads are the best tablet that you can buy in 2019, but they are not for everyone. If you are not inside Apple ecosystem and dont want to deal with restrictions that Apple puts on their devices, then you should consider Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1

The state of Android tablets is pretty pathetic in 2019. Google and most other OEMs have given up on tablets. The only exception is Samsung and Amazon. Amazon makes Kindle Fire HD. They are cheap and good for media consumption, but I dont like the way Amazon shoves their product and services in your face.
Galaxy Tab A comes with full version of Android 9.0 and doesn't shove goods and services in your face. I respect my privacy, no thanks Amazon! Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 comes in three flavours: 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. I would not recommend 32GB model because it comes with only 2GB system RAM. That is not enough for Android 9.0 to run smoothly. So skip 32GB and go for either 64GB or 128GB since these models have 3GB RAM
Pros:
  • Expandable storage. SD Card support makes this tablet a better media consumption device than iPad. You can store as many pics, movies and ebooks as your heart desires!
  • Netflix and Disney+ lets you save movies to SD Card. You cant do that on iPad!
  • Nice Screen. Its bright, has full HD resolution and comes with minimal bezels.
  • Great speakers. Support Dolby Atmos Surround Sound
  • 13 hours battery life is amazing
  • Good performance
Cons:
  • Its not an iPad (That may be a pro for some people)!
